New Class Starting in September! (7-9 yrs)
The format of this class will be an extension of the 3-6 yrs program by incorporating more activities that encourage conversation and verbal expression of students’ ideas. We will read fables and discuss the morals of the stories, learn short poems, play cognitive games, students may bring something for show & tell, and sing songs. Worksheets will include writing two-word vocabulary, filling in the blanks, reading and writing short sentences and occasionally reciting writing from homework. More academic learning will be incorporated into the class, while still keeping it fun and interactive.

Program Policies & Procedures
Registration & Waitlist
After submitting a registration form to join the waitlist, we will send you a confirmation email to inform you of your child’s ranking on the waitlist(s). There is no need to register again for an upcoming term if your child is already on the wait list. We accept waitlist registration for children under 3 years old. We will contact you by e-mail when a spot becomes available for your child.
Refund Policy
Refund will be prorated with an administration fee of $75.00 per cancellation request made no later than 24 hours after the completion of the 2nd scheduled class. After that, no refund will be issued. Full refunds will be issued for any classes cancelled by CUE. There are no refunds, credit or make-up classes for missed classes. CUE Cantonese Immersion reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to change the conditions of the refund policy at any time. Customers will be advised of any changes prior to enrollment in the program.
Payment
We accept payment by e-transfer.
How does Priority Registration work? Are siblings included?
Priority registration is given to currently enrolled students and their siblings that are continuing a consecutive term. Failure to submit your priority registration before the given deadline will automatically result in the lost of your child’s spot.
What is the age required to participate in the program?
Students must be 3 years old by session start date to participate in the program.
Are parents allowed to participate in class?
This is not a parent participatory class. Children are to participate and learn independently with same-age peers.
Gradual Entry
We allow gradual entry for students that need extra time adapting to the new learning environment. We ask that:
– Only 1 parent (adult) to be present.
– Masks and handwashing are required upon entry.
Please contact the program coordinator if you wish to arrange for a gradual entry for your child.
Does my child need to be potty trained?
We encourage that children be potty trained or will be comfortable in a diaper for the duration of class. There are children size toilets on premise.
Parent Drop-off & Pick-up
Children must be dropped off and picked up by authorized adults listed on your Authorized Child Pick-Up Form. Repeated lateness may lead to penalty charges of $1/minute after the 10-minute pick-up time. If you or others on the Authorized list is unable to drop-off or pick-up your child, please inform the program instructor in writing of the changes in advance. Please note that your child will not be released to someone not authorized to do so. Valid photo ID will be requested.
Medical/Learning Needs
Parents / guardians are advised to inform program staff of any allergies, medical concerns, or learning needs that their children may have prior to enrolling in the program.
